At Bridge by Kelly Aburi, we are committed to providing exceptional consultation services. We understand that circumstances change, and we've designed this policy to be fair to both our clients and our practice.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are provided for our consultation services. By booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Client (More than 24 Hours Before Session)

If you cancel at least 24 hours (1 full day) before your scheduled session, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
2.2 Cancellation by Client (Less than 24 Hours Before Session)
✗ No refund (0%)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled session are non-refundable. This policy ensures we can honor the time commitment and opportunity cost of last-minute cancellations.
2.3 No-Show Policy
✗ No refund (0%)
If you fail to attend your scheduled session without prior notification, or if you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior arrangement, this will be considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and the session will be marked as complete.
3. Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Rescheduling with 24+ Hours Notice
You may reschedule your session at no additional charge if you provide at least 24 hours notice. To reschedule:
- Contact us at kellyaburi@gmail.com with your booking reference
- Provide your preferred alternative dates/times
- Receive confirmation of your new session time
3.2 Rescheduling with Less than 24 Hours Notice
Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your session may not be accommodated and will be treated as a cancellation under the 24-hour policy (no refund).
4. Emergency and Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies occur. In cases of:
- Medical emergencies (documentation may be required)
- Family emergencies
- Natural disasters or severe weather
- Other unforeseen circumstances beyond your control
We may make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible at kellyaburi@gmail.com to discuss your situation.
5. Cancellation by Bridge by Kelly Aburi
5.1 Provider Cancellation
In the rare event that we need to cancel your session (due to illness, emergency, or other unavoidable circumstances), you will receive:
- Full refund (100%) to your original payment method, OR
- Priority rescheduling at your earliest convenience, OR
- Credit for a future session that never expires
5.2 Technical Issues
If technical difficulties on our end prevent the session from taking place, you will receive a full refund or complimentary rescheduling, at your preference.
6. Refund Process
6.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

- Include your booking reference number
- State the reason for your refund request
- Include the session date and time
6.2 Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Processing time: 1-3 business days to review and approve
- Refund method: Original payment method used for booking
- Arrival time: 5-10 business days after approval (varies by bank/payment provider)
6.3 Refund Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. The email will include:
- Refund amount
- Expected arrival date to your account
- Transaction reference number
7. Payment Provider Fees
Please note that payment processing fees charged by Paystack are non-refundable. These fees are deducted by the payment processor before funds reach us and are beyond our control. Your refund will reflect the net amount received after processing fees.
Example: If you paid $250 and processing fees were $10, your eligible refund amount would be $240 (for a full refund) or $120 (for a 50% refund).
8. Special Situations
8.1 Multiple Session Packages
If you have purchased multiple sessions as a package, cancellations and refunds will be calculated on a per-session basis according to this policy.
8.2 Gift Sessions
Sessions purchased as gifts follow the same refund policy. Refunds for gift sessions will be issued to the original purchaser's payment method.
8.3 Promotional or Discounted Sessions
Sessions booked at promotional or discounted rates are subject to the same refund policy. Refunds will be based on the actual amount paid, not the regular price.
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you disagree with a charge or have concerns about a payment:
- Contact us first: Please reach out to kellyaburi@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We're committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly.
- Chargeback consequences: Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of services and additional fees to cover chargeback processing costs.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that specific booking.
We will notify registered users of significant policy changes via email.
